If your SpO2 is greater than 85%, you can titrate oxygen flow through a nasal cannula (2-6 L/minute O2) or a simple face mask (5-10 L/minute O2) to achieve 94-98% saturation. If you are unable to achieve or maintain your target range, you can switch to a reservoir mask (15 L/minute O2) and seek senior advice.

The target SpO2 for most healthy adults is 92–96%, and 90–95% for most children. However, your target range may differ depending on your lung disease. For example, if you have COPD, your target range may be 88–92%
